Owen Travers-Clark
Opening out a family garden – Epsom, Surrey

Job Specification - Residential

This was a large garden which was formally owned by a recluse and was heavily overgrown. The new owners wanted to be able to see their children at all times when they were in the garden. So the entire old garden had to go. The idea was to turf the complete area, following it being opened up and leveled out.

Solution Provided
A lot of tree and shrub growth was cut back and also uprooted. The use of a machine to do all the soil moving proved very useful.

Following the leveling out, the machine was used to dig out a shaped hole, so that the trampoline legs could be buried to ground level making the black fabric sides removable. This worked very well for the family as the children wanted the trampoline but the parents did not want a tall black and blue object in the centre of their garden.
