Low maintenance front garden – Mitcham, Surrey

An elderly couple wanted their front garden to be extremely low-maintenance and had a beloved white Rhododendron bush they wished to preserve.

Solution Provided
I exchanged the real grass for high grade artificial grass and planted up two extra rhododendron bushes, one additional white one and a yellow flowering variety. A newly procure Camellia bush worked well by the entrance door and as the client loved Marigolds, I sourced some bright yellow ones for the stone planters.

I rebuilt the broken stone bird bath, re-pointed the crazy paving where needed, and jet washed the whole area.

The end result was a bright, attractive front garden requiring no mowing, therefore extremely low maintenance for its owners.
